This training will:
- Build on your understanding of domestic abuse and coercive control
- Give you greater understanding of the Domestic Abuse Stalking and Honour and Honour Based Abuse Risk Identification Checklist (DASH RIC) and how to use it
- Provide you with information on Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) and how they work locally
Who should attend?
Staff from General, Specific and Intensive Work Force
This training is suitable to those in the specific workforce category who have direct contact with children and young people and/or other family members, for example:
GPs; youth support workers; drug and alcohol services; domestic abuse services; services for communities; health visitors; school nurses; social work staff; adult social services; housing providers and homeless staff and some education staff. It is also suitable for emergency services workers such as police, SAS and SFRS.

Once your position is confirmed on our training, it is a mandatory requirement to let us know if you can no longer attend our multi-agency training and the reason why. This is due to the fact our multi-agency training attracts significant preparation time, and we would like to maximise attendance.
