About this training
This training has been developed following identification by the Women’s Health Working Group of a gap in awareness and understanding of menopause and reproductive health, particularly for marginalised women.
The session will explore how menopause and reproductive health issues can impact women who:
- use substances
- experience violence or abuse
- are involved in the justice system
It will also support staff to recognise symptoms and understand appropriate referral pathways for further investigation and support.
Who should attend
This training is suitable for the wider workforce, including professionals working across the public, private and third sectors in Dumfries and Galloway who may come into contact with women experiencing these issues.
