Event overview
This workshop will help workers learn how to use a special tool called the Perpetrator Mapping Tool. It is used by people who work with families and children.
The tool helps workers:
- find out who is causing harm in a family
- understand how that person is trying to control others
- see how children might be getting hurt
- notice when a parent is trying to keep their children safe
- spot problems that come from outside the family, like unfair treatment or people using systems to cause harm
- think about what they should do next in their job
This training is for people who work with families where there may be domestic abuse.
