Safe and Together - supervisors training

Dates: 2 to 4 June and 10 to 12 November 2025 (in-person training).

About the training

3-Day Supervisor and Manager training is aimed at participants who have not undertaken the 4-day CORE Training.

This training has been advertised previously with minimal if any changes. So please double check you haven't previously attended prior to booking.

Domestic abuse is one of the most challenging case issues facing child welfare and other family service agencies. Handling it well requires skills, confidence and knowledge.

Supervising workers in a domestic violence-related practice is one way to make sure employees have the support and guidance they need when working with adult and child survivors, intervening with perpetrators, and managing safety for themselves and the family. In this course supervisors and managers learn key skills to help their workers apply a perpetrator pattern-based approach to casework.
